A Most Unique Gorge Tour - Going Behind the Ropes

Two senior guides will lead a very special excursion into Canyon Lake Gorge showing you behind the Gorge ropes. They will visit restricted locations only accessible on university or professional industry tours. Come explore the Three-meter wall, the Pit and trace the Hidden Valley Fault. Both guides are retired geologists, who bring their special knowledge and insights into your experience.
This reservation only event is scheduled for Saturday, March 29, at 9 am and is limited to 15 people. Registration is through member email sent Feb 23, 2025. This hiking tour lasts 3 hours with much of it off trail. It is not recommended for people with ankle, knee or stability concerns.
